Oh, dear. Have barely checked my deviantart in the last few months and my messages were brimming.
So, updates. For two months now, I have landed myself a job as a 'ghost writer' (or 'shadow writer' as I'd like to call it because it sounds better) and therefore have focused most of my creative juices on that job. (And it has been as stressful as they come).
For arts, I've had a few since my last upload. But have all posted them on my tumblr instead because... I actually don't know why. Laziness, most likely.
My own stories have been put on hold for like the millionth time due to my projects with my new job, but I've been trying to squeeze

Camp NaNoWriMo

The past few weeks, I've been gearing up for Camp NaNoWriMo for next month. For those of you who don't know it (cause honestly, I only knew about it a few months ago and it's my first time to participate), NaNoWriMo is much like a writing challenge. Finish a novel in one month. That's it. It's more like a project to motivate writers and also to bring them together.
NaNo starts every November 1st, and ends on December 1st. By the end of November, you must finish your target word count. Camp NaNoWriMo is pretty much the same, except it's on July. And I'm hopping on board with a story I had years ago that I just dusted off and reshaping again.

I finally got a desktop computer in my house (yes yes, poor me. It's actually just borrowed, so me having it doesn't mean any improvement with my relationship with money), and I want to try out making digital arts with it.
My previous works are only made using my Nintendo DS, which is very small and has limited options, so I want to ask, given that I am quite financially challenged, how do I do this?
Perhaps, I need a pen tablet. I've seen one that's really cheap but the pen itself requires a battery, and my friend has mentioned that those types are hard to balance in the hand, hence, would easily tire me out.
